The Fuel Project

I am watching this series, Know Your Enemy, by The Fuel Project. Mark Fairley is the impressive narrator, as well as researcher. Here is part 1, an introduction to some of the concepts being covered. You can watch it for free on youtube. I like this so much, I bought the 4-disc DVD set. This documentary style series is absolutely full of biblical history. I can't praise it enough. I love it! HERE is a link to the full series.

addendum: info copied from The Fuel Project site.....
1. Where does the name "Fuel" come from? The dictionary definition of the word "fuel", is "something that nourishes, sustains or encourages; a stimulant."  This accurately describes what the Fuel Project is for. The aim is to see the church informed, energised and mobilised. 2. What does the logo represent? A flame represents light and Christians are called to be light in a dark world. The flame also represents heat which is a metaphor for passion and fervour. Christians are warned by God never to be luke-warm or apathetic. The Bible also describes God as a "consuming fire" and so the centre of the flame is white hot representing His holiness and His centrality to the project. 3. Can we make copies of DVDs to hand out for free? The most important thing is that the information reaches as many people as possible and finances should never be a barrier to that. However, it takes hours, weeks, months and years of painstakingly hard work to research, write and produce these materials and the Fuel Project needs financial support to survive and thrive. Every time a series is distributed without recompense the project is deprived of valuable resources. In order to balance these two issues, the deal is that I would ask you to purchase as many copies of DVDs as you can afford to support the ministry and then, having done so, you are then free to distribute copies to others as often as you like. That way the ministry is supported to the full but there is no financial hindrance to the spread of the information. How many copies each person can afford is a matter for individual consciences before God and will vary from person to person. 4. Why do you charge for e-books and DVDs at all? Matthew 10:8 says to give as freely as you have received! You should give freely! Because the videos are available on YouTube, they have indeed been freely given. So the question now turns back on the inquisitor. Since you have freely received the videos via YouTube, will you now freely give back to the Fuel Project to support the ministry and the production of new materials? If enough people freely donated to the ministry then costs could be covered and these materials could be given away for free. In other words free giving and receiving only works if both sides are committed to the principle. Donations incidentally can be made to authenticfuel@gmail.com through PayPal.  (Gal 6:6) 5. Why did you condone the celebration of pagan holidays in Know Your Enemy? This question is answered in the series "Stay Free - Why Society Can't Survive Without God" which is available as an e-book on Amazon. US - http://www.amazon.com/Stay-Free-Society-Survive-ebook/dp/B0081QL1GC UK - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Stay-Free-Society-Survive-ebook/dp/B0081QL1GC It is also available on YouTube here: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1C889ED74C82E57C&feature=mh_lolz. The DVD will be available shortly. 6. Why do you post quotes from "wolves in sheep's clothing" like CS Lewis? Firstly, I don't believe CS Lewis to be a wolf in sheep's clothing. I do not know of one person who has left the faith because of Lewis' writings but I know many who have come to faith as a result of them. Yes, he had some wrong theology and his own battles to fight, but so do we all. Test everything, keep the good, throw out the bad. Secondly, a quotation posted on the Fuel page does not implicitly suggest approval for a person's entire ministry, theology and life choices. It is often...but not even always... simply approval of the quotation being posted. For example, I have in the past quoted from Adolf Hitler and NWO proponent, David Rockerfeller...obviously this does not mean I approve of either men's actions...it simply means the quotation has some use for this page's audience. 7. Why do you not censor posts or involve yourself in the arguments that take place on the Fuel Project wall? Free discussion on the page has several benefits. Firstly, when an atheist, or a member of a false religion or cult comes onto the page to sow seeds of confusion, it gives us an opportunity to give them the Gospel. They may listen, understand and be saved. Others who read the threads may also be saved. Since the Fuel Project began, upwards of 17 people have become Christians as a direct or indirect result of the ministry's influence. We should not be afraid of the presence of non-believers in the community. The truth has nothing to fear. Secondly, it allows us to practice our apologetics - our ability to defend the Gospel. 1 Peter 3:15 tells us to always be ready to give a defence of our faith. Tough opposition sharpens us and drives us deeper into the Word to find answers to the questions being posed. It helps deepen our understanding of what we believe. I do not personally involve myself in debates as I say whatever I have to say through the books and series themselves. Also, if I were to try to answer all the objections, emails and threads, I would have no time to do anything else. I am also heartened that there are a core of regular contributers to the page who take responsibility to witness, correct and discipline according to the Bible's instruction. This is a better example of how the church should operate, rather than as a one man ministry. We are be disciples who make disciples who make disciples. The responsibility is on all our shoulders. The only grounds for banning from the page are abusiveness or consistent trolling. 8. Where can I find the occult checklist mentioned in Know Your Enemy and Stay Free? https://www.facebook.com/notes/the-fuel-project/occult-checklist/10150091721877507 9. What is the song on the introduction for Know Your Enemy? Wish by Paper Route
************************************************************
In response to several requests for a Fuel Statement of Faith, here is a short summary of core beliefs.  Fuel believes in... 1. The divine inspiration, authority, sufficiency and inerrancy of the Bible. 2. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. One God - three Persons. 3. The virgin birth, the perfect deity and the perfect humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ. 4. The death of the Lord Jesus Christ upon the cross as the only perfect and effective sacrifice for sin, His subsequent burial, literal resurrection and ascension into heaven. 5. The personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ to the earth for and with true believers in Him. 6. The fall of man which renders all people sinners before God, necessitating the Sacrifice of Christ and the regenerating and sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit. 7. The justification of the sinner by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone. 8. Death is not final. There is life after death and the dead will be raised either to life or condemnation. 9. The personality of the Devil.
************************************************************ Parts 72 & 73 of Know Your Enemy deal with Mormonism and the Jehovah's Witnesses as two of the larger cults with occult origins. I thought it would be useful to include a more extensive list provided by Bill Subtrizky in the Appendix of of his book "Demons Defeated", which is copied below:
"The following is a list of non-Christian religions and cults which can...provide demonic entry points: Ananda Marga Yoga Society, Anthroposophical Society (Eurythmy, Rudolf Steiner, Waldorf Schools) Astara, Bubba Free John Bahai Buddhism Children of God (Family of Love) Christadelphians Christian Science Church of the Living Word (John Robert Stevens "The Walk") Church Universal and Triumphant (Elizabeth Clare Prophet) Confucianism Divine Light Mission (Guru Maharaj Ji) Druids Lodge ECKANKAR (Paul Twitchell) Enlightment (heightened awareness, nirvana, satori, transcendental bliss, god-realisation, expanded consciousness, altered perception of reality, cosmic consciousness etc) Esalen Institute (Michael Murphy) EST (Erhard Seminar Training) Foundation faith of the Millenium (Robert de Grimston) Foundation of Human Understanding (Roy Masters) Freemasonry Gurdjieff/Subud/Renaiisance (Esoteric Christianity) Hare Krishna Hinduism (Karma, reincarnation, avatars, Bhagavad-Gita, Yoga, T.M.) 1. What do you make of the use of the Masonic Lucifer in the Fuel Project Logo? Surly the guy knows what it means given the fact that he is a researcher into these topics!
